The Mayor of Greater Woolwich, the Jolly Worshipful Thomas Crapper, WC, AICMFP, today opened a new public convenience in the Lagos North district. In his speech, Mr Crapper explained that due to current severe financial constraints significant savings in design and construction costs have proved necessary, but expressed the hope that the facility would nonetheless provide much needed relief for commuters at the nearby railway station.
