The law is not entirely asinine, then

A snippet from the London Drinker, the bimonthly mag of CAMRA's London branches.
From the legal advice column of the Publican, I note that Schedule 1 to the Licensing Act 2003 specifically exempts Morris Dancing from being a licensable activity. There you go, Morris Dancing is not legally entertaining...
Actually I don't particularly mind morris dancers practising their harmless perversion in public places, but I do object to them expecting normal people to take it seriously and, arising from some bizarre twist of autistic reasoning, assuming that they are entitled to financial contributions.
